Work beautifully in elaborate calligraphy scripts — each letter has room to breathe and the flourishes show clearly. Styles 1, 2, 6, and 9 tend to read best at shorter lengths.
Read most clearly in cleaner, more open cursive or print styles where the letters don’t compete for space. Styles 4, 5, 8, and 15 give the best legibility at longer lengths.
